‘Two and a Half Men’ season 11 official; Angus T. Jones downgraded to recurring
Now, the offical news concerning the status of Angus T. Jones and if we will be getting more “Two and a Half Men”. The sitcom is coming back for an eleventh season and CBS confirmed the news on Friday, that both Kutcher and Jon Cryer have signed new contracts that are likely to make each of them some of the highest-paid actors on TV. There were rumors early on that this could be the final season for the show, but this was changed in part thanks to the higher ratings of “The Big Bang Theory.”
As great as much of this news could be for fans, there is also one interesting twist worth reporting. You won’t necessarily be seeing as much of Angus T. Jones. The actor behind Jake Harper is going to be attending college in the fall, and he is working out a deal with producers to recur on the upcoming season. This marks a change from the rest of the series’ run, but this has also been a controversial year for the actor, as he famously referred to the show as “filth” in a testimonial video.
There is no word on whether or not season 11 will be the last for the show, and it will probably depend on a combination of the show’s ratings as well as the interest of the stars.
