‘Once Upon a Time’ season 2, episode 19 preview: Rumpelstiltskin and Robin Hood

If you are a major fan of Rumpelstiltskin and Belle, you’re probably sure to love Sunday night’s new “Once Upon a Time” season 2 episode. After all, the couple are pretty much front and center for almost the entire hour, as we have more of an opportunity to get to know just what went down back when Emilie de Ravin’s character was trapped with the “Beast” back in the Fairytale Land.

In the sneak peek below, Rumple has actually taken his servant-of-sorts on the road, where he is looking to track down a mysterious man who stole something from him. Belle had apparently freed this man so that he could escape, and she pleaded with the Dark One to let him be. However, this was once again a chance for the character to show just how evil he truly is, and he had every intention of showing this … even to a woman that he would later come to love more than anyone in the world.

So what is this mysterious man’s name? As it turns out, he goes by Robin Hood! Tom Ellis will be playing the famed archer, but given that he has another pilot on ABC in “Gothica,” it may be a little early to presume that the character will be back on the show for any sort of extensive storyline in the future.

While Rumple is dealing with Belle in this world, it’s almost ironic that the tables are turned this week in Storybrooke. While “Mr. Gold” has some of his emotions more in check, the newly-named “Lacey” will not. Belle’s alter ego is just starting to surface, and she is both dangerous and flirtatious, which is something he may not know how to deal with.
