‘Glee’ season 4 spoilers: First look at Darren Criss’ Blaine ‘shopping’ for Kurt

As you may have heard already, there is an upcoming scene in the “Glee” season finale that features the arrival of Patty Duke and Meredith Baxter, who are playing a lesbian couple and mentors to both Kurt and Blaine as they grow up and try to discover how the world around them treats members of the LGBT community. Now, we have our first photo of one of them on the show’s set.

The photo to the left features Darren Criss and Duke smiling side by side, and while it’s unclear where this is, we are presuming it to be the same “jewelry store” where we are reportedly going to see Blaine pick up something rather special: an engagement ring for Kurt. Is Chris Colfer’s character actually going to accept it? At the moment, that appears to be the biggest mystery out there, given that the two are not even together romantically at the moment, and Kurt was dating Adam (Oliver Kieran-Jones) the last we saw. Then again, Adam has also gone suspiciously missing in action as of late.

What we’re also curious to find out a little more information about here is whether or not Blaine is really even going to have an opportunity to even spend much time with Kurt at the time of the proposal. After all, he is still in school, and McKinley High has to be getting ready to perform at Regionals at the time the finale happens. This year, we’re seeing something a little bit different in that the school year is not over with the finale.
