‘The Vampire Diaries’ season 4: Joseph Morgan, Daniel Gillies focus of ‘Originals’ poster
While The CW is still not to the point yet where they are ready to proclaim that the “Vampire Diaries” spin-off series “The Originals” is officially going to happen, they are at least promoting it enough to make sure people know about the backdoor pilot.
If you look over to the left, you can check out the first poster for the April 25 episode, which of course features Joseph Morgan’s uber-popular (and at times uber-evil) vampire Klaus front and center. You have to expect that the character is going to remain as sinister as ever in the early going as he transitions to life in New Orleans, even though early claims about “The Originals” suggest that it could in some way be a redemption story for Klaus (if this is a guy that can even be redeemed, that is).
What is rather interesting about the poster, though, is that both Rebekah (Claire Holt) and Elijah (Daniel Gillies) are placed behind a certain new character in Marcel (Charles Michael Davis), a certain being who has taken on the task of running the supernatural community in the Big Easy for quite some time now. Not only that, but he and Klaus also have quite a history together that dates back for some time.
There are some other new characters set to appear in “The Originals,” including a college student named Camille who really has no knowledge at all of the supernatural world, but this is hopefully something we will have some more details on at a much later date.
What do you think about this poster, and are you excited for “The Originals” to air? If you want to check out some more “Vampire Diaries” news featuring Nina Dobrev and Candice Accola, be sure to hit up the story over at the link here.

I am super excited for the Originals! But, I don’t know how Vampire Diaries will survive without them…
