2013 ACM Awards: Live stream the red carpet here!
Are you ready for the 2013 Academy of Country Music Awards to begin? The show is officially airing on CBS beginning on Sunday night at 8:00 p.m. Eastern time, but you can check in now to find something else rather important to all fashion fans out there: a live stream of the show’s red carpet event.
There are all sorts of big guests expected to appear on the red carpet in Las Vegas at some point tonight, whether it be Carrie Underwood, Taylor Swift, or either one of the show’s hosts for the year in Blake Shelton and Luke Bryan. The latter is a little bit new to hosting, but Shelton is a bit of a veteran after hosting with Underwood for many years and should be able to handle the responsibility without a problem.
This is really just one of many country music award shows that we will see over the course of the year, as there are also the CMT Awards, the CMA Awards, and even the American Country Awards handed out later in the year. This is not even including the fact that the Grammys recognize country, as does the MTV Video Music Awards, the Billboard Music Awards, and the Teen Choice Awards. Basically, country artists have more opportunities to get dressed up than just about anyone else in the business right now. This show is traditionally one of the most-respected of the country community, especially the coveted Entertainer of the Year Award.
