‘The Vampire Diaries’ season 4 spoilers: Has Nina Dobrev’s Elena ‘Come Undone’?
At this point on “The Vampire Diaries” season 4, is there any one storyline more important than what is going on with Elena? We know that Professor Shane is still out there and must be dealt with in some shape or form, but it is pretty hard to deny that Nina Dobrev’s character is really getting the bulk of the attention. With that in mind, it’s hardly much of a surprise at all that there is an episode title coming up that seemingly has her front and center.
In theory, it may be possible that episode 21 of this season, “She’s Come Undone,” could be about someone like Caroline or Bonnie who have gone through their fair share of tumultuous times already this season. However, it really doesn’t feel as though anyone else would make more sense for this than Elena given that we are already starting to see her become completely unhinged. She killed a waitress on this past episode, and she certainly appears as though she is more than capable of inflicting a great deal of damage on anyone else who comes her way in the future … including the Salvatores.
What is also rather notable about this episode title right now is that it is coming so soon after “The Originals,” which is the backdoor pilot airing on April 25. Are we going to see Klaus, Elijah, and Rebekah appearing anymore in Mystic Falls after that point? It’s not entirely clear if they will just stay in New Orleans, or make a few more visits back to where Elena, Damon, and Stefan call their home before making the move permanently.
