‘Hart of Dixie’ season 2 spoilers: What’s ahead for Zoe and George?

Hart of Dixie CastWhile much of “Hart of Dixie” thus far has revolved very much around Zoe and Wade, it does look as though like there is a chance coming up for another couple to enter the mix for the first time in a while: Zoe and George. Are the two getting together? It’s probably not fair to even make that assumption right now, since they are not even going out on a date.

Instead, the official synopsis for the upcoming 19th episode of the season airing on April 16 (entitled “The Kiss”) suggests that it will be a Shakespearean production that ends up drawing Rachel Bilson and Scott Porter’s characters closer together after everything they have been through in the past several months:

“When the town decides to put on a performance of Shakespeare’s most iconic scenes, George (Scott Porter) and Zoe (Rachel Bilson) refuse to play Romeo and Juliet, but eventually agree just to prove to everyone that they are over each other.  Lemon (Jaime King) and Wade (Wilson Bethel) are excited about taking over the reigns at the Rammer Jammer, but things come to a halt when they lose all the staff two days before opening.  Meanwhile, Brick (Tim Matheson) decides to offer a week of free counseling to everyone in BlueBell and winds up helping the two most unlikely people, but in his effort to help others he learns a secret he has been keeping from himself.”

With the episode’s title being what it is, we have a feeling that much of what we see during this hour will in turn help to facilitate everything else that comes up after it. There is enough time to at least explore the possibility of Zoe and George getting together … even if it doesn’t happen.
