‘All-Star Celebrity Apprentice’ rankings: Omarosa, Lil Jon see their stock rise

OmarosaLast wee, we correctly predicted that Dee Snider would be quick to leave on “All-Star Celebrity Apprentice,” and we also presented a group of categories that all of the contestants fall in (such as “people there for entertainment value” only and “serious contenders”). We stand by grouping up the contestants, and you can read more on that here.

For the sake of avoiding repetition we’re not going to categorize the contestants this week, and instead rank them using this simple criteria that we’ll be using for this ridiculous show here on out: challenge success, boardroom prowess, star power, and the all-important Trump Factor (which basically means whether or not The Donald finds you good TV).

12. Stephen Baldwin (11) – He came across poorly during the Universal challenge with some shady behavior, and this is the second straight week that the Baldwin brother has received some negative chatter in the boardroom. STephen is no stranger to leaving reality shows early (see “Celebrity Mole” either season), so it would not be a surprise at all to see him fall victim to something here.

11. Claudia Jordan (12) – She has virtually no shot at winning, and while Trump seems to enjoy having her around (he did cast her despite her being the biggest non-celebrity here), we’d be stunned if she lasts forever.

10. Gary Busey (9) – We earnestly believe that both Stephen and Claudia are more competent than a man who is lucky nobody sued him for groping them while at Universal. However, there is that Trump Factor we talked about earlier looming large here…

9. La Toya Jackson (10) – Omarosa totally tried to set La Toya up for giving her that terrible Spider-Man photo both, but she luckily did not need it given that she won the challenge. However, La Toya has never really done anything to deserve the massive praise Trump has given her.

8. Trace Adkins (1) – We’re giving Trace a major deduction for the week just because we find it irritating to see a full episode without one of the stars on board. If you’re going to miss a full challenge, you better come back and be incredible in your next task. This is more of a demotion based on principle.

7. Dennis Rodman (8) – We never thought that we’d have Dennis ahead of Trace, and it may just be a one-week thing, but how about the  save that he made during Omarosa’s presentation? It was really his question that sent the team down the right path.

6. Brande Roderick (6) – She is still a pretty competent woman, but Brande did not really do too much to stand out during the Universal task save for just following Omarosa’s orders. She’s surely safe for a little while, but the fundraising fiasco will come back to haunt her.

5. Lisa Rinna (5) – She hasn’t made any mistakes, and this is the best thing that we can say about her right now. So long as Lisa continues this, she may as well punch a ticket to the top six or seven.

4. Omarosa (7) – It was quite possibly the best week for the show’s biggest villain. She won her first-ever task as Project Manager, and she even showed off a vulnerable side. To be honest, we actually believe that the tears were real: she was still mourning Michael Clarke Duncan’s death, and when you are emotional and on little sleep, the tears flow.

3. Marilu Henner (3) – We don’t really think that Marilu’s superb memory was as big of a plus or a minus as the show made it out to be this past week: she was just trying to bring something to a task on a very bad team. She’s probably the most accomplished lady left, and with the right people around her we could see her in the finale.

2. Penn Jillette (2) – By the same token, Trump made a big deal out of Penn not pushing his idea hard enough just to seemingly get under his skin. The truth is that Penn did totally the right thing, and it looks good on him that his idea was strong. Most everyone believes that he left his season before his time, so look for him to try and make a big splash in the weeks ahead.

1. Lil Jon (4) – Yeah! Okay, so Lil Jon has to be #1, right? Omarosa signaled him out as a key component to her win this past week, and he also raised a great deal of money in the first task without his charity even being involved. He’s a super-smart, super-creative guy who probably benefits from not having the target on him. He’ll go far.

Who do you think is the most-likely candidate to win “All-Star Celebrity Apprentice,” and who do you think will be the next one fired? We want to hear some more of your thoughts with a comment below! If you want to read our full review of last week’s episode, you can do so over at the link here.
