‘Hell’s Kitchen’ to air two-hour premiere; ‘New Girl,’ ‘Mindy Project’ pushed back
Are you ready to see Chef Gordon Ramsay swear at inspire contestants on “Hell’s Kitchen”? If so, Tuesday night is going to be a pretty exciting one for you, based on some of the new information that we’ve found out via Fox.
According to a new press release, the network has decided to extent the season premiere of the show to two whole hours, which is smart for the network for a number of reasons. For one, it helps to whet the appetite of Ramsay’s devoted fans across the country, and it also gives the network another night of all-new programming. By saying this, we mean that the new episodes of “The Mindy Project” and “New Girl,” which are already off this week due to “American Idol,” are going to be pushed back until next week. (Luckily, both comedies have already been renewed for another season.)
Like always, the new season of “Hell’s Kitchen” features a number of chefs aspiring to land a job at one of Ramsay’s signature restaurants, which have ranged to places in Vancouver, Las Vegas, and even London over the course of the show’s run. The only real twist this time around is that the chefs are actually going to present their signature dishes in front of an audience, which means that there will be people of all walks of life that are potentially subjected to watching their food be dumped in the garbage. (We always wonder what makes contestants want to try out for this show in the first place, given how intense working in Ramsay’s kitchen can be.)
