‘The X Factor’ USA notes: Carly Rose Sonenclar, Emblem3, Demi Lovato

Emblem3We’re going to start off this “X Factor” USA notes with something that we honestly wish we could share every time we do one of these articles: new music! Specifically on this occasion, we are talking about the latest from Emblem3.

While at their first show in a mini-tour of California this week at the Roxy, the group debuted some new music, and we have the three songs for you below. Our personal favorite of the group is “Just For One Day,” mostly because it feels like a nice combination of Sugar Ray, Matisyahu, and a group that we have compared these guys to before in Hot Chelle Rae. The other two songs that we have below are “XO” and “Chloe,” which is not about the show’s co-host in Khloe Kardashian (so don’t even start to go there).

The ladies at the Roxy certainly seem to love Keaton, Wesley, and Drew, and there are almost just as many phones pointing into the air as there are people in the audience.

Carly talks “Ellen” campaign – Do you remember that campaign that fans of Carly Rose Sonenclar put on in order to get her on “The Ellen DeGeneres Show”? Well, it’s not completely going away just yet.

Carly spoke out recently in an interview with Celebrity Teen Scoop, and in it she discussed openly the movement that has been sparked on Twitter over the past several months. Not only that, but she commented on a certain mistake that Simon Cowell and Britney Spears made while promoting the show early this past season.

“I would love to be on the Ellen Show! After my first audition on ‘The X Factor,’ Simon and Britney went on the Ellen show and Ellen actually asked them about me and they said my name was Carly Rae! It was pretty funny to watch. I would love the chance to meet Ellen and introduce myself with my correct name!”

Demi Lovato’s new lyric video – Want to see Demi’s lyric video for “Heart Attack”? So do we! Go over to this link and start working to unlock the video, and we’ll embed it here once it is online.

Update: Here is the full video.
