‘American Idol’ top 40 spoilers: See when Lazaro Arbos, Candice Glover perform
Beginning on Wednesday night, we are going to see “American Idol” do something a little bit different than in years past: give us a chance to see performances from every member of their top 40. This is an interesting move in that it allows America to have two chances to see individual performances from every singer before voting, but we are also a bit unexcited about the idea that we are going to waste much of the next two weeks on twenty singers who we are not even going to be voting for.
So do you want to know when some of your favorites are going to be performing in the next two weeks? “American Idol” super site Mjsbigblog has compiled this tentative schedule, but know that this could change at any given moment.

Overall, it’s a pretty balanced list and we have no complaints about it, though we wonder if the show will be disappointed at all if most of the advancing artists are the people listed above who received no screen time at all.
