‘Once Upon a Time’ season 2, episode 14 preview: Regina and ‘buried treasure’
Is anyone else surprised that Regina seems to be suddenly so willing to work with Cora on “Once Upon a Time” season 2? We must admit that there is a pretty significant part of us that is hoping with every fabric of our being that this is all just some part of an elaborate ruse to exposure Barbara Hershey’s character for the monster that she is, but there is no proof just yet that this is really the case.
On Sunday night’s new episode “Manhattan,” as a matter of fact, Lana Parrilla’s Evil Queen still seems to be interested in trying to help Cora and Captain Hook take Rumpelstiltskin down a notch with something that they know could be very valuable if they want to destroy him: his famous dagger. They are smart enough to realize that Rumple would not have left town without entrusting the weapon’s location to someone, and thus, the trio finds the clues that they need inside of the library where Belle worked prior to her accident.
Does this all seem a little bit too easy to anyone else? It makes perfect sense that Mr. Gold would trust Belle as to the location of the night, but would also imagine that he would have moved it upon realizing that she, thanks to a certain move by Hook earlier this season, has no idea at all anymore just who she is. If these three do manage to find it, the Captain is in enormous trouble if he can figure out how to arrive in New York City, given that the once-powerful mage-of-sorts no longer has any of his abilities there.
