‘American Horror Story’ season 3 spoilers: Lily Rabe will join Evan Peters and others

American Horror StoryLily Rabe fans, do not worry: one of the best parts of “American Horror Story: Asylum” is going to once again return for the show’s third season. This time, let’s hope that she is not going to be possessed by the devil.

Ryan Murphy confirmed the news of Rabe’s return in a new post on his Twitter account late Thursday, and it marks the fourth member of the “Asylum” cast who is officially locked in for the new season. The actress joins the likes of Evan Peters, Sarah Paulson, and Jessica Lange as those confirmed to be making appearances yet again, and Murphy has said that his primary interest is making sure all of the actors get the opportunity to play someone very different than who they were recently.

As for other rumored names, Taissa Farmiga from season 1 is believed to be making a return appearance, and we know that there is some interest from Zachary Quinto so long as he does not have to play yet another psychopath (something he fears being type-cast in after first finding fame as Sylar on “Heroes”). On the flip side, Jenna Dewan-Tatum is likely not going to be a major part of the season after booking a major role on a new Lifetime series. Adam Levine may is also a question mark thanks to his role on “the Voice,” and there has not really been any word at all on James Cromwell just yet, even though we would love to see him back as one of the brightest stars of this past season.

Are you thrilled to be seeing Rabe back on “American Horror Story,” and who do you want to see her play? Be sure to share some of your thoughts with a comment below!
