‘Glee’ season 4, episode 12 preview: Naya Rivera returns; Lea Michele shows skin
Are we really going to see Rachel Berry like we’ve never seen her before? While that is still a worthy question, the opportunity is going to certainly be there on next Thursday’s new “Glee” season 4 episode for the character to reveal way more of herself than she ever has before.
As for why Rachel is planning to go on stage without a top on, the answer is simple: it’s for a play that she wants to be a part of badly at NYADA, even though she is still not quite sure as to whether or not she wants to go through with it. One of the benefits of winning the showcase from last season is that she really has the option to pick and choose just about anything that she wants from the school, and it includes the opportunities to take some risks. (We just hope that we see more sides of her personality next week, since really she just came across as rather conceited during the “Sadie Hawkins” episode.)
As for what else we are about to see transpire in “Naked,” there will of course be plenty of skin from some of the McKinley High boys as they plan to shoot their shirtless calendar, presumably to raise money for regionals. We hope that somewhere in there we see an example that men have the same sort of body insecurities as women, since not every dude is going to have ripped abs and look like Adonis without a shirt on.
In addition to this, Naya Rivera will also not only be back, but she will be in New York City. We’re also getting close to the return of Dianna Agron as Quinn Fabray, and hopefully she is going to stick around a little while longer than she did for the “Thanksgiving” episode. This is the first time all season that she and Rachel will have any scenes together, and we know that there are plenty of fans of this pairing out there.
