‘The Bachelor’: Sean Lowe calls being leading man ‘weird feeling’

It is awkward enough to see yourself on TV (we know that from experience), but it is even weirder when you see yourself doing so in such a prominent role as “The Bachelor.” Just one week one, Sean Lowe likely did not even imagine himself appearing on Emily Maynard’s season of “The Bachelorette,” let alone being a guy searching for love himself with the assistance of producers and a camera crew.

So how is the guy trying to digest all of this? It certainly can’t be easy, and based on one of his most-recent posts on his Twitter account, he’s almost too in awe of the gig to really know what to say about it:

“Just saw a commercial for The Bachelor premier. Such a weird feeling. Still can’t believe I’m the freakin bachelor!”

Sean’s season is already promising to be an interesting one from a drama standpoint, and some of his female suitors include everyone from a “50 Shades of Grey” fanatic to some models, businesswomen, and even two women who have some past connections to the franchise whether it is through a past season of the flagship show or “Bachelor Pad.” Sean is one of those guys online who comes across as genuine humble and fun to be around, so hopefully this translates onto the show and we do not have a case of a guy who struggles to have much of a personality beyond just a few romantic cliches thrown out time and time again.

What are you the most interested to see happen on “The Bachelor” moving forward?
