‘Glee’ season 4 spoilers: Will Naya Rivera’s Santana fight back to win Brittany?
You knew that moment that Brittany and Sam got close on “Glee” season 4 that there were going to be some rather interesting consequences, and now we are starting to hear even more about this very thing. Santana will be back at some point early next year, and you have to know that while the young woman played by Naya Rivera told Brittany that they should move forward with their lives, she did not expect her to do so either so quickly, or with someone who is also a part of New Directions.
So what precisely will she end up doing about her ex-girlfriend’s new relationship? That part of the equation is still a little bit unclear, but according to a new report from Wetpaint, she and Chord Overstreet are set to have some sort of duet during an early episode back following the show’s January return. As to what this song choice is, that much is still a mystery … though we are hoping for something a little bit along the lines of the epic take on “Smooth Criminal” between her and Sebastian that was more or less the equivalent of a vocal battle.
As for Brittany and Santana’s specific future together, we cannot sit here with a straight face and say that there is a specific date in which Ryan Murphy is looking to pull these two beloved characters back together. However, you can expect them to still be involved in each other’s lives moving forward, and with the passion for the pairing being what it is, we would be absolutely stunned if they were not paired up again at some point by the end of the series’ run.
