‘True Blood’ season 6 spoilers: What is Stephen Moyer up to now?

True BloodSeason 6 of “True Blood” is getting set to officially be underway, and we now have some rather exciting news to share about the season premiere airing this summer. According to a new report from Just Jared, the director of the show’s first episode back is going to be directed by none other than Stephen Moyer!

Based on what we know about the upcoming episodes already, Moyer is going to have quite a bit of action to oversee when it comes to his character of Bill Compton. If you think back to the season 5 finale in September, you already know that this caused the character to go from ordinary vamp (or at least one in a position of power as a king of Louisiana) to a demigod of sorts after drinking the blood of Lilith. Will he stay this way for good, or become a temporary servant to her? There are still so many questions worth asking at the moment when it comes to this, and we could be waiting for quite a while before we ultimately find out.

There are plenty of  other interesting new characters that will be joining Bill in and around Bon Temps this year, including some political figures, a young woman who is a leader of a protest movement, and potentially even the vampire in Warlow who is responsible for the death of young Sookie Stackhouse’s parents. All in all, it feels as though we are going to be for quite a wild (and quite a bloody) ride.

Are you glad to see Moyer getting back into the director’s chair now? Be sure to share your thoughts below, and you can read some more scoop about the season 6 premiere title over at the link here.
