‘Glee’ season 4, episode 9 spoilers: Wanna hear some of the songs?
On Thursday’s episode of “Glee” season 4 (Swan Song) we will finally be getting back to the basics with the show and focusing more on the singing rather then just the relationships going on with the students (and former students.)
Whoopi Goldberg will be back at NYADA this week as the hard-nosed director, Carmen Tibideaux where Rachel will be performing Barbara Streisand’s hit “When Being Good Isn’t Good Enough” for the Winter showcase. Will Carmen be impressed with Rachel’s performance? Kurt will also have a chance to sing for viewers as he has a second chance to audition for NYADA by singing “Being Good” from “Company and Kate Hudson’s character of Cassie will be performing “All That Jazz” from the hit musical “Chicago”.
The big song everyone is waiting to hear is Cory Monteith and the Glee club sing “Don’t Dream It’s Over” by “Crowded House” after Marley faints on stage at Sectionals. There will also be a duet with Sam and Brittany singing the Frank and Nancy Sinatra song “Something Stupid” – will it be before they kiss or after they kiss? No one knows yet, but we do know there will be a kiss, so Brittana shippers beware.
If you can’t wait until Thursday’s “Glee” episode of “Swan Song” to hear the new music, take a listen to the recordings below and let us know which song you’re most excited to see performed on the show. If you’re looking to listen to Cory Monteith sing “Don’t Dream It’s Over”, be sure to check it out here.
“Glee” season 4, episode 9 will be airing on December 6th at 9 p.m. on Fox.

Sounds like it will be a good week on Glee. The song choice for Kurt to sing for his second audition though is a little too slow? I think his best performance was Not The Boy Next Door, but maybe they wanted one that is emotional for him. I guess we’ll have to wait and see what Chris does with this on the show. I hope he gets in and joins Rachel at NYADA because the NYADA storyline is a bit of a bore right now. Although, I have to admit, I love all the scenes with Cassie.
