‘Glee’ season 4 spoilers: Chris Colfer talks Kurt and Blaine holiday reunion

Even though Blaine smashed Kurt’s heart to pieces when he cheated on him with the mysterious Eli C. near the beginning of “Glee” season 4″, fans of the couple can’t stop rooting for them to find a way to move past all the hurt and get back together. On last week’s episode Kurt came back to McKinley High for the Glee club’s production of “Grease” where he came face to face with Blaine in the hallway after the show was finished. Blaine asked to have a moment of Kurt’s time to talk to him about what happened, but Kurt was still so visibly upset that he could barely look at Blaine let alone sit down and chat with him about the incident.

Fans have reason to rejoice just the same as the upcoming Christmas episode will reunite Blaine and Kurt in New York City, and although it’s unlikely that Ryan Murphy has any plans to get this couple back together as a couple at this point, he may be laying the ground work for a possible reconciliation in the future.

Chris Colfer chatted with TV Line about the upcoming Christmas reunion between Kurt and Blaine that will take place at the Bryant Park ice rink in Manhattan and revealed that the pair will be sing a duet together.  He said:  “We were skating to ‘(I’m Dreaming of a) White Christmas’ — because I don’t know about you, but I definitely skate with my exes and sing Christmas carols all the time!”

Colfer then teased that Kurt and Blaine will come to a certain “realization” that will set the scene for the pair in the future, but what that realization is (friendship or romantic) still remains to be seen. So why is Blaine in New York in the first place?  Did he go there to try and patch things up with Kurt? Colfer wouldn’t reveal much, but he did say; “There’s a reason he’s there, but it’s kind of a secret.”

The “Glee” Christmas special (called “Glee, Actually”) will be airing on December 13th on Fox, so be sure to tune in to see what happens with Kurt and Blaine during their ice skating outing.
