The Big Bang Theory season 11 premiere video: One Amy – Sheldon reveal won’t take long

The latest The Big Bang Theory season 11 premiere video below makes many things clear, including a big one for Amy and Sheldon. Apparently, Amy isn’t going to have to wait long at all to learn that Dr. Ramona Nowitzki kissed Sheldon, and that was the impetus for him flying across the country and deciding to propose.

In the new video below first shared by CBS, you can see Jim Parsons and Mayim Bialik opening up about that storyline; not only that, but you also get a glimpse of Leonard calling Sheldon wondering where he is. He spills the beans on everything while Amy is standing right there, including that Ramona kissed him. Amy’s reaction is basically what you would expect, and somehow Shelton forgot to conveniently mention this in terms of importance to her before getting down on one knee and proposing. (Of course, he also bothered to answer the phone mid-proposal, which is another significant no-no given the circumstances.)

The Big Bang Theory season 11 premiere is, hopefully, going to wrap up the proposal part of the story one way or another. It’s possible that there could still be some surprises to come beyond this — given that we’re talking about two of the show’s most beloved characters, we imagine that this proposal is going to offer up some opportunities for celebration all across the fandom!

Granted, we’re also very much aware that there is a contingent that doesn’t want the proposal to overwhelm the show. There’s always going to be some element of balance here, so don’t worry about that.

Other subjects in the Big Bang Theory season 11 premiere video…

Kaley Cuoco and Johnny Galecki each do their part to discuss some of the upcoming story for Penny and Leonard, who seem to be having a nice time in the midst of some surrounding craziness. Meanwhile, Kunal Nayyar mentions that Raj is still going to be trying to figure himself out; we do know that there are photos out there of him speaking with Ramona (or trying to); could he be trying to set up something with her, or is the show trying to pair up Raj with both members of Garfunkel & Oates?

One storyline that the show is being rather coy on at the moment is the romance between Howard and Bernadette, which we do certainly think is important given everything that they’ve been through, and everything that they could be going through from here. Melissa Rauch has confirmed already that she is expecting a child, and we do wonder if the show will be writing that in! We certainly hope so, given that it’d probably be a production challenge otherwise and there could be some good story about Howard and Bernadette adjusting to having a rather large family.
