Big Brother 19 live feed spoilers: Nomination discussions (day 24, afternoon)
At the moment, it appears as though Jessica and Dominique are going to be the choices for the week, but Christmas out there as a potential backdoor target. We know that Paul has talked plenty of smack about Dominique since the talk show from the other night, but to quote a certain Breaking Bad character in Mike, all of this feels like a total half-measure. Why nominate two people from separate sides of the house, since you’re effectively giving some of the power back to the dominant side? Why take that chance? If we were Alex, we’d either nominate two people from Dominique’s side like Dominique and Raven (she’s already been fed some “information” about her behavior), or we’d just nominate Jessica and Ramses and be done with it.
One way or another, this week is probably going to hurt Alex given that she’s being a little bit more clever with her nominations than she really needs to be. In general, that’s a theme of ours for this entire season — while Paul’s worked out for him, he could have easily just nominated the likes of Cody and Jessica and taken the risk with the Power of Veto Competition. We don’t necessarily think that Cody would have fared better in that competition than Paul did in retrospect.
Later today, we do expect the nominations to come into play. Based on what was said in the show, we don’t expect the Den of Temptation to come into play in the immediate future — at the very least, production needs to wait on that until Christmas is back in the house so that there’s no ambiguity as to whether or not she has already had one. There isn’t an update on that just yet, but we hope that she’s back soon given that there are already plenty of houseguests complaining that she’s had this much time on the outside in the first place. She’s not being fed information or anything, but we understand it may be frustrating — yet, do you know what else is probably frustrating? HAVING SURGERY. We’re anticipating that she’ll be cleared, but we’ll update that in the event it changes.
The skywriting comes back … as a conversation topic
Also this afternoon, Ramses and Dominique revisited the whole “banner” (it was actually skywriting) that Ramses supposedly saw in the sky previously outing Dom and Mark as allies in the game. They all denied this, and it seems as though production may have told them to stop talking about it. Let’s just say that Dom and Ramses won’t be pals in the house anytime soon. For the record, though, the skywriting had nothing to do with the game.
