Real Housewives of Potomac reunion preview: Robyn Dixon drama & more
For one, we’ve got a co-host! Okay, not really, but we do have a pretty amusing moment where it looks like one of the Housewives is going to make their best attempt at trying to take the show over from Andy Cohen. He doesn’t seem all that game for the idea, though he does laugh it off pretty well.
From here, things in this video look a little bit more insane as the allegations start flying in every direction. Robyn Dixon has a big role to play, there are relationship updates, and of course there’s plenty of tea-spilling and shouting. In one way when you’ve seen one reunion show for this franchise you’ve seen every reunion show, given that there are so many clear similarities across the board with them. The one thing that is different is that you get some different augmentations to the cast here and big personalities.
By the end of the month, this season of craziness will be over and we’ll left to wonder just what the future is going to hold. Hopefully, it’s a little more drama for the series, and a chance to learn more about these women and the crazy lives that they all lead surrounded by the wealth and politics of the region.
Here’s the best thing about the reunion
It’s only two parts. Sure, some will see this as a slam on this show versus the others, but it’s really not about that. The biggest issue with these reunions as a whole is that they’re overly bloated with not enough content for them to be 3 parts (or more). Do we understand that Bravo wants to make money? Absolutely, but there are still some issues in dragging things out to the point of them no longer being entertaining. The only time that we’ve ever felt the extended reunions was justified was this past season on the Atlanta series, mostly because of everything that happened with the Kandi Burruss accusations. That was some pretty heavy and serious stuff.
