Bachelor in Paradise 4 investigation nearing end; answers on incident soon

Paradise 4 investigation

We know that everyone wants the Bachelor in Paradise 4 investigation to be over sooner than later. This will enable Warner Horizon, ABC, and the parties involved to come to the next steps. If it turns out that action needs to be taken against either production or someone involved, that can happen. Beyond that, for the producers and the network, they may want to get to addressing the future of the franchise once the necessary parties are all cared for in the end.

Speaking to Entertainment Weekly, a source claims that the investigation will be done soon; it’s up to the studio and the parties involved to determine whether or not to make it public. DeMario Jackson and Corinne Olympios have each released statements at this point discussing their thoughts on what transpired. Corinne says that she had sexual acts committed against her that she was not sober enough to consent to, whereas DeMario denies any wrongdoing and wants a tape of the incident to be made public. It should be noted that Corinne does not levy any specific criticism towards DeMario in her statement, and he had nothing but positive things to say about her as of a few days ago.

As of now, it is our belief that Paradise will likely be canceled both this summer and indefinitely, largely because the damage to the franchise has already been done, and this incident will be forever associated with it. If it’s not a criminal issue, it could still be a marketing issue and ABC / Warner Horizon may want to distance themselves from the brand. Given that the entire Bachelor franchise is profitable, more than likely there will be another one that is created down the line that provides a little bit more safety and regulation to prevent further incidents like this from happening.

Once the results are public, of course you will be able to take a look at them here.

Meanwhile, we know that so many people are looking forward to getting back to the silliness of The Bachelorette itself, and there is a new episode of that show airing on ABC Monday night! If you head over to this link, you will be able to preview some of what is coming there.
