Real Housewives of Atlanta reunion (part 2): Kandi Burruss gets emotional

The second part of The Real Housewives of Atlanta season 8 reunion show is going to be coming up on Sunday night, and judging from the information that’s out there about it, there are going to be tears. We’re going to see Kandi Burruss go at it with both Phaedra Parks and Porsha Williams, and at one point, we could end up seeing one of the most emotional moments that we have for her ever since she ended up being a part of the show.

The thing we still wonder is why this needs to be a four-part reunion; then again, we do get that there is a lot of ground to cover. Even if you take away much of the internal conflict between the various Housewives, you do still have a little bit of conflict outside of the show. In terms of relationships, this is probably the most depressing season of the show to date. Just remember for a moment or two here all of the relationships that have fallen apart since the start of season 8, and everything that some of these women have went through. Even if we don’t like much of what they do sometimes, our heart does go out to them.

Now, let’s get to sharing a little more in the way of insight regarding what is coming up next:

Synopsis – “Kenya reflects on her complicated relationship with Matt and confirms the status of where things stand today. Phaedra gives updates on the status of her divorce with Apollo and brings proof to make her case. Shereé calls out Kenya for constantly adding fuel to the fire and in an emotional confession, Shereé reveals more heartbreaking details surrounding her tumultuous marriage with Bob.”

The end of the promo is when Kandi starts to really get emotional when it comes to some of the comments made her way from the other women earlier this season, but it’s not altogether clear if those are coming either in this part of the reunion or at some point down the road. We also know that somebody is going to be storming off the stage at some point, which shouldn’t be much of a shock since it happens on a pretty regular basis across the franchise.
