24: Legacy episode 12 (finale) spoilers: Will you get season 2 cliffhanger?

24: Legacy episode 12

The 24: Legacy finale on Fox next week is going to be an integral one for the future of the series. Not only does this show have to find a way to tie together the first season in a way that makes sense, but you’re also going to get an opportunity to see what the show has planned when it comes to setting up a potential second season.

If there is one thing that you have to remember with this series in particular, it’s that we’re dealing here with a franchise that does love to end on cliffhangers. Remember that at the end of 24: Live Another Day, we saw Jack Bauer be taken away via helicopter. This is not necessarily a show that loves to end via predictable means; instead, it loves to leave something to the imagination so that you think that life within this crazy world never stops.

Therefore, it’s possible in theory that this show ends up setting the stage for a season 2 within the closing minutes of the episode. Let’s just say that it wouldn’t surprise us much at all.

24: Legacy episode 12 synopsis – “Rebecca’s deal to save Donovan doesn’t go as planned. Meanwhile, CTU must rely on Carter to go out into the field and facilitate an important exchange.”

We can’t imagine that you thought Fox was going to shell out all that much in the way of finale spoilers in advance here, largely because that is not really their style. They are far more inclined to make you wait however long that they can in order for you to see what happens.

The promo below does a great job of accenting more of the stakes for Eric Carter, Rebecca Ingram, and the majority of the other characters on the show — beyond that, one of the things that we do want to note is that it never mentions that this is a series finale. Instead, it says “season.” Therefore, you aren’t meant to consider this a limited series in the slightest.

What do you imagine that you’re going to see on 24: Legacy episode 12? Do you think any major characters are going to die? Share some of your early thoughts and expectations below!
