Madam Secretary season 3 episode 17 spoilers: Could a mole hunt be much more?
Next week, you’re going to see with “Convergence” a story about mostly that — people coming together in order to take on some challenges. In one instance, it appears that said challenge could be taking on a mole in a CIA smuggling ring. Meanwhile, in another, it appears as though what you’re going to see is an opportunity to see the team try to save black rhinos from extinction. A part of this is why we appreciate the show so much — they give you something that you expect, but then something that may throw many people off-guard given that it’s something that is almost impossible to predict you’ll see. We love black rhinos, so we’re all about any story that is going to give audiences a chance to learn a little bit more about the cause to help save them.
Madam Secretary season 3 episode 17 synopsis – “When a computer sting uncovers the possible mole in the CIA arms smuggling ring, Elizabeth’s questioning of the suspect makes her think that a larger, more dangerous force is behind the operation. Also, Henry worries that the doomsday cult is drugging his embedded operative, and Elizabeth and her State Department staff come up with an unorthodox approach to solving black rhino poaching in Namibia.”
By the end of this episode, the biggest thing that we hope for is some resolution to both stories, especially since the show’s going to be on a break come April 2. Come April 9, the show will return with more season 3 episodes. There’s also one more question that you should ponder beyond of course what’s coming in the story: Whether or not it will be renewed for a season 4. The ratings are still such at present that this is firmly a bubble show, so if you really love what the writers and cast are doing, you need to watch live! Otherwise, there’s no guarantee that it will be back to tell more stories in the fall. This isn’t a show that generates a ton of publicity, so it is more dependent on loyal viewership than some out there.
