The Vampire Diaries series finale spoilers: ‘I Was Feeling Epic’ featuring Nina Dobrev

Vampire Diaries series finale spoilers -

For those of you looking for Vampire Diaries series finale spoilers, you’ve come to the right place! After all, the show’s coming to an end in just seven days, and “I Was Feeling Epic” should be the culmination of a heck of a journey.

Before anything else, let’s share the official synopsis for the story below.

Synopsis – “With the fate of Mystic Falls at stake, Stefan (Paul Wesley) and Damon (Ian Somerhalder) must fight their greatest enemy for one last battle.”

We know already that Nina Dobrev will be coming back for this episode. Not only that, but we know that she’ll be playing two separate characters. You’ll get a chance to see Elena Gilbert back on the show, and then Katherine to go along with it. Who knows? There may be more, but it’s a little early to speculate on that. Given that it doesn’t appear that there will ever be a revival for the series, this is the time to say goodbye, and celebrate a show that at one point was a cultural phenomenon and one of the biggest series of its kind. The hype died down a bit following Nina’s exit, but we do expect a ratings bump when this episode airs.

Before the finale, be sure to also watch in order to see “Forever Yours,” a special that, per The CW, “features interviews with past and present cast members and guest stars, a conversation with the executive producers Julie Plec and Kevin Williamson, behind-the-scenes footage from the final season and special moments from the past eight years.” Think of this as the perfect prelude to the finale. “Forever Yours” airs at 8:00 p.m. Eastern in the show’s normal timeslot. Meanwhile, the series finale comes on the air starting at 9:00. Be sure to adjust your calendars accordingly! Also, remember that the week after the finale, the new season of The Originals is going to air. Its future beyond this season remains a question mark. The promo below doesn’t give much away beyond the happy returns, but it’s still exciting, to say the least!
