Homeland season 6, episode 7 preview: Danger, value, acceptance

Homeland -

There is technically a new episode of Homeland airing tonight on Showtime, but we don’t have any illusions as to when people are watching it. There’s a good chance that many of you had an opportunity to watch or stream it early thanks to the network’s decision to try and sidestep the Oscars. That’s a decision that we agree with for the most part, largely because of the fact that you don’t want the show to lose momentum or buzz just because some of the people out there are watching some other things.

So while we’re aware that everyone out there is likely watching tonight’s episode at a wide array of different times, let’s still go ahead and do our part to preview in particular what could be coming up on the show next.

Synopsis – “Carrie gets bad news. Saul makes a plan. Quinn accepts his situation.”

In typical Showtime fashion, the network is keeping the vast majority of their cards close to their vest and it’s almost impossible to be surprised by that. They clearly do not see any inherent need to give anything away early, and when you think about it, why would they? The one thing that we can say is that quality-wise, we’re feeling as though the show will not disappoint. This year has been to date one of the show’s strongest, mostly because they’ve managed to capture that feeling of urgency and relevancy without teetering off into preachy territory. Meanwhile, they’ve also kept the focus on the characters you know.

Before you go, we recommend that you do head over here and get some other news pertaining to Homeland now.

Promo – Judging from the new video below via Showtime, prepare for a bomb threat. Also, prepare for a dangerous meeting. This is an episode that is going to raise the stakes, and cause some additional struggles as the hour progresses.

In the end, we’ll just have to wait and see where the story, and the momentum, goes from here.
