Bull episode 16 preview: What’s ahead for Michael Weatherly, cast in ‘Free Fall’

Bull -

For those wanting some full details on Bull episode 16 (“Free Fall”), we’re very much thrilled to be here with them today! Admittedly, we didn’t think that CBS was even going to give us a synopsis until next week, so we’re going to go ahead and consider this one to be a rather lovely gift.

Without further ado, let’s now go ahead and get right to it, since there are some interesting situations ahead for Michael Weatherly and the full cast in this episode.

Synopsis – “When a state governor and the co-owner of a skydiving company die during a jump, Bull helps the co-owner’s brother, Max Hyland (Frank Whaley), and daughter fight a lawsuit filed by the governor’s widow by trying to find who sabotaged the parachute. Also, Bull and his frequent trial collaborator, Liberty Davis (Dena Tyler), find themselves on opposing sides in court for the first time.”

What’s so interesting about the idea of episode 16 is that Weatherly’s Bull and the rest of the TAC are going to be doing their best to fight several different fronts. You’ve obviously got a murder-case component to this story since you’ll be spending a good bit of time in this episode figuring out precisely what in the world happened, just as you’re going to also see a court battle that you don’t tend to see on mystery shows. Then, you’re also adding in here a little bit of politics. This is a show that loves to tick a number of different boxes (check out our most-recent episode review for evidence), and all signs here are that they’ll be certainly doing this and then some here.

Also, it’ll be fun to see what happens when Bull actually faces off against Liberty Davis for a change given that she’s been an ally to him at times, and also has been rather responsible for bringing him some cases over the course of the season so far.
