‘Criminal Minds’ season 12, episode 12 preview: On ‘A Good Husband’ (and key ‘Spencer’ episode)
Tonight, “Criminal Minds” is giving you a big episode, one that is bring back Spencer Reid into the show while also at the same time giving you your first major appearance of Jane Lynch in many years. It brought a lot to the table, and certainly didn’t feel like the typical installment of the show by any means.
So where are we going to see the show go next? This is one of the mysteries that we are looking at now while taking a glance ahead into the future for “A Good Husband,” the next new installment. It’s one that doesn’t seem to have as big of a hook right away, or at least one that is apparent at first glance upon reading some of the information that is out there.
Synopsis – “The BAU team is called in to investigate when male victims are found with no way to identify them.”
Since CBS isn’t giving you a whole lot to go on when it comes to this episode, we’ll take a quick look ahead at the upcoming episode “Spencer” airing on February 15 — you know, the one that’s had Matthew Gray Gubler fans shaking in their boots. What we can tell you is that there is a “Criminal Minds: Beyond Borders” component to the hour, as Alana De La Garza and Daniel Henney are both going to be guest-starring. The irony here is that we still don’t know a date for a spin-off.
The one thing that we are certainly concerned about over the coming weeks now stems from the fear that JJ had for Spencer at the end of tonight’s episode. She’s not someone to say something like this for the heck of it, and as a result of that, we’re fearful not only for his mother, but for himself. He’s stretching himself incredibly thin, and he may not be opening up enough to share how he is coping with everything around him.
