‘Bones’ season 12, episode 4 preview: Booth, Brennan, and Aubrey face the past

Bones -Tonight, “Bones” gave us a really fun episode that had us spending some time at a retirement home, while also giving you some notable guest stars such as Ed Asner and Hal Holbrook. While there was a lot of fun to be had with the case of the week, there were also some pretty serious discussions happening within the couples at the Jeffersonian and it all revolved around having kids. Who wants more, who is closing up shop and who wants to adopt! All of those questions were answered in our review of tonight’s episode (which you can read at the link here).

So where do we go from here with the show? Well, we’re encountering an episode next week entitled “The Price for the Past” that will put most of its onus on that very thing. The history of Booth and Brennan is going to factor into this case in some way, and the same goes for Aubrey as we get a chance to see his father.

Synopsis – “The team investigates the murder of someone from Booth and Brennan’s past. Meanwhile, Aubrey faces a moral dilemma of his own when he discovers his dad is back in the picture.”

For those wondering, the actor playing Aubrey’s father is going to be Guy Boyd, who is currently a very busy man given that you’re going to be seeing plenty of him over on HBO’s “The Young Pope.” There are of course many other familiar faces who are also going to be surfacing over the course of the hour, so there is quite a bit for you to look forward to there.

Promo – While this may not give an extensive insight into the case itself, it does suggest that the secret we’ve already mentioned here is related more to Booth’s past than Brennan’s. Given that he’s been forced (because of his job) to have skeletons in his closet, that could mean almost anything.
