‘The Bachelor’ episode 4: Should Danielle Lombard, Rachel Lindsay get one-on-one dates with Nick Viall?

One of the things that we’ve rather enjoyed getting a chance to do with some of these articles on “The Bachelor” is try to look into our crystal ball as to who could be getting some of the next one-on-one dates. Sometimes, it is a little predictable. There was no clear or overt sign that we were going to see Vanessa Grimaldi get one on Monday’s episode other than that she’d received a decent edit so far in the season; he chose her over Corinne Olympios (who received the first Group Date rose of the season) or Rachel Lindsay (the recipient of the First Impression Rose this time around).

So moving into episode 4, things are going to be getting that much more serious — usually at around this time, some of the trainwreck contestants are starting to go, and we’re focusing a little bit more on people who have a real chance at this in the end — and that list doesn’t include Corinne. You get the sense from Nick Viall’s body language that he really does think that she’s a little bit much with some of her actions.

Rachel – Hey, as we said she got the First Impression Rose! This is a relationship that is going to be explored, and you just have to figure that it is a matter of time before it takes place.

Danielle Lombard – She received the Group Date rose tonight, and she’s been a standout in several different moments across the show. While we still don’t have all that great of a sense as to who she is based on what we’ve seen, she’s got plenty of time to be more fleshed-out.

Raven Gates – She’s established herself as a big character in the confessionals, and we certainly think that she’s funny. Can she be more than that? We think that with the right amount of airtime she’ll be someone Bachelor Nation embraces.
