‘NCIS’ season 14, episode 11 video: Gibbs’ all-important phone call

With a show like “NCIS,” operations really are the name of the game, and the latest delicate one is going to be coming in your direction on Tuesday night’s new episode entitled “Willoughby.” This is an installment that features a delicate operation, and it’s one that per the sneak peek below, several agents could find themselves mixed up in it within one way or another.

Probable the most surprising thing, at least to us, about watching the sneak peek below is that for the first half or so of it, there’s not really much in the way of an appearance from any other regular cast member. We only get that before and after Vance informs Gibbs that Operation Willoughby is a go, and he should prepare himself for what comes next. Vance passes along this message while Gibbs is in the process of shaving, and the fact that he uses a straight-razor to do this is probably one of the biggest testaments out there to how Gibbs in some ways lives his live in 1949. He’s vintage, like some of the clothes you see in special shops across Los Angeles.

At some point in this episode, some of the focus will center around Bishop and her boyfriend Qasim as they work together in an effort to try to figure out a way to play a role in their own right in making things better. This all sounds exciting, but at the same time it is rather complex to the point where it’s tricky to hand down specifics.

The one thing that we do feel fairly confident in saying is that this may be one of the most complex, multi-level operations that we’ve seen the team take on over the course of the past several months, and it is certainly possible that it leads to more larger stories down the road.
