‘Once Upon a Time’ season 6, episode 9 spoilers: ‘Changelings’ synopsis hints at Evil Queen – Belle decisions

Evil Queen -Given that there is no new episode of “Once Upon a Time” airing this coming Sunday due to the American Music Awards, we weren’t quite sure as to when ABC was going to be so kind as to release the next synopsis. After all, they don’t typically do so until five or six days before the next episode.

Luckily, someone over at the network was feeling generous today! Following the release of the promo over the weekend, we’ve now got the official details on “Changelings” below, and there’s a heck of a lot going on here in terms of the Evil Queen having to make a huge decision regarding Zelena, while Belle also has to figure out what she wants to do about her unborn child in the wake of the latest antics of Rumpelstiltskin, who continues to be acting out until he gets what he wants:

“In a Fairy Tale Land flashback, Rumple collects Jack and Jill’s son as bait to lure a powerful being to him. Back in Storybrooke, Gold tells the Evil Queen that she must kill Zelena, and the EQ makes a decision that will change her relationship with her sister forever.  When Belle discovers Gold’s plans for their son, she convinces Hook and Emma to help her steal squid ink that can immobilize him, and, as a result, Belle is left to make a sacrifice that will affect the lives of everyone in Storybrooke. Meanwhile, Jasmine finds a genie-less lamp that she hopes to use to save Agrabah, and Aladdin finds a way to be her her.”

Given that changelings are responsible for taking away real children and replacing them with something else (typically fairies), we are starting to get more of an understanding as to why the episode is named this. Hopefully, we’ll only get a little more information in regards to this as we get closer to the episode airing.
