‘Agents of SHIELD’ season 4, episode 7 spoilers: A tiny tease at what’s to come

Earlier this season on “Agents of SHIELD” season 4, we had a chance to see a pretty epic story like no other with the Ghost Rider’s past and present coming to a head. We started to see how exactly Robbie Reyes developed this alter ego, and at the same time, the formation of Eli Morrow as a significant force to be reckoned with thanks to the Darkhold. He’s now someone who can effectively play god, and that’s terrifying.

What’s also a source of anxiety is that the status of many characters, including Fitz and Coulson, is in some jeopardy. Do we think they’ll be okay? Most likely, but there’s at least a marginal reason for some fear still since even if they’re alive, there’s still a chance that they’re either badly injured or greatly impacted as a result of Eli’s actions and the explosive aftermath.

The unfortunate thing is that you’re waiting for a rather long while until the show returns with “Deals with Our Devils” on November 29. This episode’s going to be critical to furthering along this story, and while the small SpoilerTV synopsis below may not be much, we do like to think of it as a reasonable foundation:

“After losing half their team, the remaining members look for answers as time begins to run out for Ghost Rider.”

We hope that this isn’t a sign that we end up seeing the end of Ghost Rider on this show, mostly because he’s brought a lot of awesome stuff to the table. Also, we’d like to see him surface a few other places within the ABC – Marvel universe, which is something that we’re going to get into more in some further articles coming out down the line.
