‘Criminal Minds’ season 12: First photo of Thomas Gibson from premiere
Now that we know that Thomas Gibson is only going to appear in the first two episodes of “Criminal Minds” season 12, that ultimately makes everything coming up all the more significant when it comes to the Hotch character. We of course want to see how the writers choose to write him off, since it’s not going to be easy given that you’re eliminating someone who is the anchor of your show. Also, it remains to be seen if there’s a chance he could ever come back.
The photo above is a quick look at Bison from the upcoming premiere episode “The Crimson King,” which looks for the most part to pick up where season 11 left off in terms of arrested escaped UnSubs. The synopsis below does a fairly good job at illuminating just some of where the story could go from here, and also how Luke Alvez, the new arrival played by Adam Rodriguez could enter the picture:
“Agent Luke Alvez (Adam Rodriguez) joins the BAU team, which is tasked with capturing a killer who escaped prison with 13 other convicts at the end of last season, on the 12th season premiere of CRIMINAL MINDS, Wednesday, Sept. 28 (9:00-10:00 PM, ET/PT), on the CBS Television Network. Adam Rodriguez joins the cast as Luke Alvez, a new recruit to the BAU from the FBI’s Fugitive Task Force.”
Eventually this season you will see the return of Paget Brewster as Emily Prentiss, who eventually is going to stick around full-time. Meanwhile, there is probably going to be another actor added in a significant role, but for the time being it’s not entirely clear who that will be.
