‘Major Crimes’ season 5 spoilers: A dive into celebrity; Rusty’s decision

There are some episodes of “Major Crimes” still coming up this summer, and a few of them could serve as a way to tie up some loose ends already established over the course of this season.

Specifically for this article, we’re talking a little bit about getting a chance to see more of how Rusty is going to resolve matters with his biological mother (played by Ever Carradine), who upon the last time we saw her made a decision when it comes to how to handle her latest pregnancy. Rusty’s behavior over the course of that episode did come under fire from some fans, who felt as though he did not handle the situation with the utmost of appropriateness. That is something that we’re going to learn more about in the upcoming August 15 episode, which carries with it the title of “Off the Wagon.” He will make up his mind regarding how to handle this pregnancy, and that should be exciting to see.

Meanwhile, you’re also going to see in this episode yet another case, one that involves the overdose of a young Hollywood talent and some of the damage that he left behind. Specifically, Flynn and Tao are going to be at the center of the action here, at least per the official TNT synopsis (uncovered by SpoilerTV).

We’re starting to get near the end of at least the summer portion of the season, and as a result of that, we do expect much more in the way of drama and important cases. Ultimately, we’ll see how everything transpires!
