‘Beauty and the Beast’ season 4, episode 9 preview: The danger of ‘The Getaway’

“This is the riskiest thing that we’ve ever done.”

These words were uttered in the closing minutes of Thursday night’s new episode of “Beauty and the Beast” by Catherine, and they certainly showed the tricky state of things for her and Vincent. He continues to try stay safe in the midst of a bounty on him, while the DHS continues its own super-dangerous pursuit. We have a feeling that things are going to get crazier than ever, even though there is some good news here in that our couple seem to be on pretty good terms personally. Let’s hope that the connection is strong enough to withstand what are probably going to be some insane obstacles standing before them.

“The Getaway” is the title for the next installment of the series on The CW, and the synopsis below does a good job of offering a few more details as to what to expect:

“Vincent (Jay Ryan) and Cat (Kristin Kreuk) fight to reclaim some normalcy to their lives, even as the threats of a beast bounty and a DHS manhunt loom. Meanwhile, Tess (Nina Lisandrello) takes a huge risk by protecting Vincent from a nosy reporter.”

This episode will close out the month of July in terms of airing new episodes of the show, and from here, we will believe what we truly believe to be the show’s home stretch. The series finale is coming later this summer, and with that, we’ll learn whether or not Cat and Vincent have a happy ending … whatever that may look like for the two of them.

Update: Check out the promo below, which does indicate that Cat is in at least a little bit of danger. Here’s to hoping she makes it out okay!
