‘The Flash’ season 2: See Tom Felton’s reaction to casting news
Even though there may not be much known at present about Tom Felton’s role on “The Flash” this coming season, what we do know is this: It’s liable to be a pretty important one. The former “Harry Potter” star is set to be a series regular, and a man working alongside Barry Allen at the Central City Police Department. The twist is that there will very quickly be some tension between the two; Felton’s character will begin to suspect that Barry is hiding something important, all while he hides some secrets of his own.
While Felton has been fairly quiet on Twitter since getting the gig, he did post the message on Instagram thanking fans for the super-positive reaction to the news coming on. Granted, we don’t think it was possible for Felton to imagine this could go any other way. He’s a popular actor from another franchise getting to take part in a show with an enormous base in its own right.
So when could you learn more about Felton’s role? A good, reasonable guess would be at San Diego Comic-Con later in the month, given that this is where the show has revealed so many other surprises in the past, including just this past year the presence of Zoom as the Big Bad. We would be certainly more than fine if Felton turns out to be playing the central villain; after all, isn’t he an actor of the caliber to pull it off?
