‘Reign’ season 4: Premiere date speculation, more for CW drama

Tonight, “Reign” season 3 came to a close, and it did so with an hour of television that contained quite a few different storylines. It’s too bad that we also lost some important characters, including Lola.

So how long are we left to wait now until season 4 comes on the air? Unfortunately, there is no clear answer at present, in part because we’re not altogether sure that the folks over at The CW have even made up their mind up on the subject yet. We know that the show is not on the fall schedule, and we’re not even sure where it fits in during the midseason one. There are so many shows that are also waiting in the wings, whether it be “iZombie,” “The Originals,” or “The 100,” and all three of them have higher ratings and are therefore potentially a little bit more of a priority.

If we were to throw an idea out there, it’d be to put this show in the place of “Beauty and the Beast” and air it during the summer in putting it there, at least the series would not have as much competition as it would have otherwise, and maybe it could get another season or two there as opposed to being on during a much more competitive season proper.

Whenever the show does return to the air, the one thing you can count on is rather simple: A whole lot of other coverage! We’ll have some other scoop the moment that we have it, so stay tuned.
