‘Girl Meets World’ season 3, episode 2 video: Riley’s fear of change and more

Season 3 of “Girl Meets World” premiered on Friday night with an episode that largely signified one thing: Change, and whether or not Riley Matthews and her friends (let along her father) were really ready for it. There is a part of you inevitably interested in seeing the entire world around you fitting to your specifications; unfortunately, more often you are the one that has to adapt instead.

As the short promo below for Sunday’s Part 2 signifies, trying to handle these changes will be a struggle for Riley, and in the end, compromise may be the best she can hope for. Whether it is her or someone like Lucas or Zay, they have things that they can offer high school that were not there before. They are not tools in a machine. However, it’s about finding the right attitude and the right approach to make things work.

What we know we’re going to see on this upcoming episode specifically is everyone try to figure out precisely where they fit. Lucas and Zay will look to go out for football, while Riley and Maya will see if there is a perfect place for them elsewhere that is not just the spot at the bottom of the stairs.

Also, one other thing that you can certainly expect to see over the course of the episode is the continuation of the heartbreaking Ava story in the premiere, where she realized that her father was leaving her mother, and she needed people to lean on, whether it be Auggie or even Maya, who experienced the pain of that first-hand.
