‘Girl Meets World’ season 3, episode 1 video: Cory Matthews faces complaints

With the two-night “Girl Meets World” premiere beginning on the Disney Channel Friday night, the folks over at the network are now doing their part to release some sneak peeks.

In the latest one that we have below (via “Entertainment Tonight“), you have a chance to effectively see Riley Matthews and company lash out over what they feel is a less-than-stellar treatment that they are receiving now that they are in high school. Nothing, from the classes to the people, are going according to their plans. Therefore, why not go to Cory and complain over it?

Cory hears them out, though the majority of these comments are inconsequential and not really anything that he can resolve. Thanks to that, he then fires back at them with something similar, making it clear that there is not exactly a whole lot that he can do for them in this situation, either. They’re just all in this together, and somehow, they’ve got to figure it out.

It’s easy to have confidence in the idea that sooner or later, Riley and company will. This is not a show that really puts a premium on happy endings; they want the audience to leave the show feeling often either uplifted or inspired, so they’re not really going to do anything that causes you to go in an alternate direction.
