‘Game of Thrones’ season 6, episode 1 preview: One last Emilia Clarke teaser photo
Sunday night is almost here, and any “Game of Thrones” fan knows what that means: The wait is over! New episodes are going to be airing on HBO and a variety of other platforms, and we’ve got one last photo tease for you now.
This image above showcases Dany (Emilia Clarke) front and center for what seems to be her new life with the Dothraki, being potentially tormented by Khal Moro. Our fear with this story is that we’re regurgitating season 1, and yet again not pushing her story forward in the way that we should. With that, we only hope that this is some sort of temporary diversion that eventually serves a much larger purpose. Maybe any gets some new warriors out of this for her army, or finds a way to stabilize her control of Meereen? That’s something that she has really struggled with every since arriving there.
One other thing at present that we do want to remind you of are the wide array of different ways in which you can watch the episode tonight, even if you don’t typically have HBO. It will be available for free on the network during this preview weekend, and you can also of course try a free trial with HBO NOW if you’re not using that service and see the first few episodes free for an entire month. That service was just made available on a variety of different platforms, including Xbox One / Xbox 360 systems if you are an owner of one of them. It’s also working now on some select smart TVs.
