‘The Fosters’ season 3, episode 20 video: Jude reflects on Jack

On Monday night’s new episode of “The Fosters,” we’re going to see many characters deal with the aftermath of Jack’s shocking death in their own ways … and this certainly includes Jude. To say that he has been through a lot over the course of the past several weeks would be an understatement and then some. His relationship with Connor ended, Jack kissed him, and then this happened with the character dying.

With all of this in mind, the sneak peek below definitely makes it seem as though Jude doesn’t quite know where to turn at the moment when it comes to his future. He reflects somewhat on Jack, and at the same time even goes on to admit that he’s not even sure if he is into guys. Connor may have been an exception more than a rule, and he’s never kissed a girl so he cannot really answer the question as to if he is bisexual.

We’re sure that there are going to be people out there who have a raised eyebrow over some of these declarations, but we don’t see this necessarily as the writers trying to permanently change the Jude character into someone different. The reality here is that he is a teenager in the middle of a breakup, and also grieving the death of someone who was at the very least a friend. He’s still trying to figure himself out, and we’re not surprised that he would be questioning his identity and his sexuality.

In time, we do feel like Jude will figure all of this out.
