MTV’s ‘Awkward’ season 5, episode 15 preview: Jenna tries to make friends

On this past episode of “Awkward,” we had a chance to flash back in order to learn more of the full story regarding Jenna and Matty. We learned a little bit about why they wanted to make this work, but in the end, it felt like insecurity on both their part led to the two falling apart.

Ironically, we learned about most of this through a conversation Jenna had with her new / old love interest Luke, who turns out to be responsible for helping her get a summer fellowship at a website that certainly feels a little bit like a BuzzFeed. We don’t presume that there will be too much more looking back at the past on Tuesday night’s new episode, but there could be plenty of awkward moments still courtesy of what Jenna tries to do with some of the people she is working with.

Is there anything that is going to come out of this big Tamara – Sadie friendship? We really hope so, mostly because of the fact that this is not really something that is going anywhere just yet beyond just constant reminders that their bond has definitely changed things with Jenna, who no longer seems to have a #1 in Palos Hills after so much time away.
