‘Legends of Tomorrow’ episode 9 preview: Matt Nable returns as Ra’s al Ghul
Tonight’s new episode of “Legends of Tomorrow” is going to be heading back in time to the 1950s, and as a result of that you’ll be seeing a wide array of different things including a search for Vandal Savage and Sara Lance getting a new love interest.
Unfortunately, following this we are going to have a hiatus lasting a few weeks. The upcoming ninth episode of the season is entitled “Left Behind,” and it will not air until March 31. Based on the synopsis below, it literally feels as though people being left behind will be a significant part of the story:
“Ray (Brandon Routh), Sara (Caity Lotz) and Kendra (Ciara Renée) are shocked after they watch the Waverider fly off without them, leaving them stranded in the ‘50s. After waiting months for their teammates to come back, the three realize they must move on with their lives. Ray and Kendra bond as a couple but Sara decides to return to the League of Assassins and Ra’s al Ghul (guest star Matt Nable).”
So in case you were wondering how in the world we were going to see Ra’s back on the show (Nable’s casting was confirmed a rather long time ago), we now have an answer to that! It’s exciting, but at the same time there is still a rather substantial mystery here when it comes to how to make this happen in a way that makes sense to the Demon’s Head. Remember here that he will not even know Sara at the time in which she shows up; heck, he won’t know any of the characters who are important later on “Arrow.”
