‘Game of Thrones’ season 6: See Emilia Clarke, Peter Dinklage, more in new photos

While “Game of Thrones” season 6 may be more than two months away still from its April 24 premiere date, the folks over at HBO were certainly kind today in one regard: Releasing some of the latest images from the new season!

One thing that we’re seeing first and foremost from the photo above is that clearly, Dany (Emilia Clarke) is not exactly getting the same royal treatment with the Dothraki that she was getting in Meereen. The good news? She does still have a dragon nearby, and we imagine that over time, she will be able to use her knowledge and her influence to her advantage. This is a tense situation for her, but the good news is that there will be some people hunting her down and searching for her.

As for some of the other photos below, they give us some of the following teases…

1. Tommen and Jaime (Nikolaj Coster-Waldau) are front and center for the funeral of Myrcella, who was poisoned on her way out of Dorne. This is confirmation that Jaime did not decide to try to go back to the kingdom to seek revenge.

2. Tryion (Peter Dinklage) is still hangin’ out with Varys.

3. Bran is back, and he’s standing! Looks can be deceiving here, so we’re not going to say too much about this just yet…

4. Arya is blind, and this photo gives you a sense potentially as to what her new, tortured life is going to be. We’ll hopefully get a chance to see more information on that soon.
