‘Scorpion’ season 2, episode 16 preview: Toby and Walter seek some help in ‘Fractured’
Did you enjoy Monday night’s new episode of “Scorpion” entitled “Da Bomb”? It certainly was one of the most intense hours that the show has put on, and it put a twist into Walter O’Brien’s personal life that he certainly did and could not see coming.
So where do we go from here? After a week off the show will be returning to CBS with another new episode in a week’s time entitled “Fractured,” and the synopsis below provides a pretty good sense of just what you can expect to see:
“After a powerful earthquake rocks Los Angeles, Team Scorpion must fix a pinched gas line to prevent a massive explosion, on SCORPION, Monday, Feb. 8 (9:00-9:59 PM, ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network. Penn Jillette guest stars as Toby and Walter’s couples counselor.”
The idea of any TV characters in counseling is always comical, largely because you never quite know what you are going to get, or how they are going to react to the situation. With this being said, the idea of these characters being specifically Walter and Toby makes it even funnier. Both are incredibly strong-willed, and we don’t picture either of them necessarily being all that interested in listening to what someone else has to say. We figure that this is probably why you get someone like Penn to come in and play the counselor. If anyone could be able to corral them and get them in line, it would be him with his giant personality.
