‘The Bachelor’ spoilers: Is Ben Higgins about to choose between Emily, Haley Ferguson?

Has the “twin twist” of sorts on “The Bachelor” been a total bust this season? We’re not sure that we can say that completely with a straight face, but it also has not produced some of the drama that we know a few people out there expected it to. Haley and Emily Ferguson have shown themselves to actually be somewhat low-key, and are not all about making themselves some cheesy reality TV characters. That’s great news for them as people, but it also means that they’re not that entertaining.

Could that change Monday night? It’s possible, given that Ben Higgins is taking his women to the twins’ city of residence in Las Vegas, and based on the synopsis below, he could end up having a date with the two of them and choosing who he wants to move forward with:

“Ben needs to resolve his feelings about both the twins, Haley and Emily. He picks them up for a special date and takes them to a surprise location, but, by the end of the day, has Ben clarified his emotions or is he more confused?”

We suppose it’s possible that he ends up sending home both twins, but we figure that to us, it’s a little more interesting if he finds a way to keep one of them and we get a chance to actually know them independent of their sister. So long as both of them are there, this is inevitably going to feel a little bit like a gimmick. There has to be a way to shake things up, and give the remaining twin a chance.
