‘The Big Bang Theory’ season 9, episode 12 video: Sheldon tries to fill up time

We are mere hours away now from an all-new episode of “The Big Bang Theory,” and there is quite a bit for you to look forward to in here from the perspective of pure laughs and laughs alone.

With that said, begin by posing the following question: Where in the world is Amy Farrah Fowler? It feels like a strange decision by the show producers to sideline the character, given the fact that she was just an enormous part of the most-recent episode with Sheldon losing his virginity to her. Sheldon claims in the sneak peek below that she is away for work commitments, and that may end up being everything that we hear about her in this episode.

Amy’s absence does also set up the rest of the preview, which focuses primarily on Sheldon deciding which one of this friends he wants to spend time with based on some of the activities that they offer up to him. In the end, he makes it clear that his activity of choice is hanging out with Raj, mostly because it involves outer space and some other activities that would probably not be altogether interesting to anyone else.

Eventually, you’re going to get to the main plotline of this episode, and it’s an interesting one: Trying to figure out whether or not Leonard and Penny can use a therapist to work through some of their issues. Unfortunately for Penny, she may not get what she bargained for with this.
